The chalet

Chalet Choulou

Chalet Choulou was created to offer holidaymakers and mountain lovers apartments with a high level of comfort and equipment, while keeping the charm of a traditional setting.

We designed cosy, welcoming living spaces with exposed beams and reclaimed timber cladding that give the apartments a peaceful atmosphere. Large glazed openings let you make the most of the sunny terraces all day long.

Its elevated position offers open views over the village, while staying close to the centre (shuttle stop 100 m away, or a 10-minute walk).

Les Gets is one of the village resorts of the Portes du Soleil, the vast Franco-Swiss ski area linking around a dozen resorts, including Morzine and Avoriaz. Renting an apartment at Chalet Choulou means enjoying an authentic, family-friendly resort with one of the largest playgrounds in the Alps on your doorstep.

Winter: skiing in Les Gets and the Portes du Soleil

The Les Gets ski area is linked to Morzine and gives access to around 600 km of pistes, all the way to Avoriaz and Switzerland. A free shuttle stops close to the chalet, the ski room has lockers and boot dryers, and the sauna awaits after a day on the slopes: everything is designed for a hassle-free ski holiday.

Summer: mountain biking, hiking and mountain lakes

Where is Chalet Choulou?

At 384 Route du Rocher, above the village of Les Gets (Haute-Savoie), a 10-minute walk from the centre with a free shuttle nearby. Les Gets is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area, about 10 minutes from Morzine and 35 minutes from Avoriaz.

Can you ski to Morzine and Avoriaz from Les Gets?

Yes. The Les Gets ski area is linked by lifts to Morzine, and the Portes du Soleil lift pass gives access to around 600 km of pistes, including Avoriaz and the Swiss resorts.

How many guests can stay at the chalet?

Le Refuge and Le Grenier each sleep 8 and Le Mazot sleeps 4. For a large family or a group of friends, the three apartments offer up to 20 beds in total: contact us for a group booking.

What is included in the rental?

Cleaning, household linen (beds made on arrival, towels), Wi-Fi, parking, the ski room with boot dryers, plus access to the sauna and gym.

Is the chalet suitable for a summer holiday?

Absolutely: sunny terraces, open views and easy access to walks. In summer Les Gets is renowned for mountain biking, hiking, golf and swimming in the Lac des Ires, with rates from €265 per week.
